Woweee! We've finally recovered after another great Umbraco CodeGarden event. I say we, I mean Matt of course. Each year it gets bigger and better, with more super cool people attending, making the Umbraco community an even richer and more diverse congregation. I'm particularly proud of the recognition Matt got in the keynote for being so friendly to new members of the community, with some lovely stories about how he made their journey into Umbraco so welcoming. He doesn't talk a lot, but when he does, he makes it count :)
A couple of weeks ago now, our very own Matt Brailsford was invited to give a talk at the German Umbraco Festival UmbracoFestDE which is quickly gaining quite a dedicated following within the Umbraco community.
When Umbraco v7 Launched back in 2013, with its fresh UI using Angular JS, it was a huge change for the community. Where before packages were mostly server-side based, Angular JS opened up a lot of opportunities for new and exciting editors such as Nested Content and Fluidity, neither of which would have been possible had it not been for this move.
As one of the developers behind both Nested Content and Stacked Content we often get asked, with them being so similar in functionality, when would you use one over the other? For us, the answer is subtle, but important.
